The Headlands - I luoghi della mente is a gripping contemporary noir that twists the boundaries of memory, identity, and truth. Fusing theater with cinematic elements, the production invites the audience into a world where nothing is quite as it seems.

At the heart of the story is Henry, a young investigator determined to uncover the mystery of his father’s unsolved murder. As he dives into a maze of family secrets and lies, he confronts the fragile nature of memory itself, revealing a truth that’s elusive and haunting. With a diverse cast and a narrative that weaves elements of true crime with deep psychological insight, The Headlands challenges the stories we tell about ourselves and the memories we cling to. 

Written by Chinese-American playwright Christopher Chen, an Obie Award winner based in San Francisco, the script explores the hidden psychological patterns behind complex power structures, merging naturalism with absurdist theater in kaleidoscopic dramatic structures.
