We were Creative Directors of the Opening Ceremony, alongside Marco Balich (Creative Lead), Damiano Michieletto and Lida Castelli. Simone Ferrari was also Deputy Creative Lead.
The theme and title of the Ceremony was Armonia. A dialogue between two opposites, the city and the mountain, Milan and Cortina. The show unfolded live on 6 February 2026 across four host locations, primarily at San Siro, with two Olympic cauldrons lit at the same time, in Milan and in Cortina, a first in the history of the Games.
About 1,200 performers. Choreography by Adriano Bolognino, Beatrice Alessi, Macia del Prete, Simone Riva & Sasha Repele.
